I’m very clear about what drives me in my work. It's about supporting the potential of people and systems by moving from knowing to doing. It's been a constant theme in my work from my time as a registered nurse, through my public sector adviser and strategist career, and in my current work.
I live in Greytown, New Zealand with my husband Derek. Our blended family of five adult children are scattered around New Zealand and across the globe. Being active has always been a big part of my life. I played three sports at the provincial (state) level (netball, surf lifesaving and water polo) and played water polo for the New Zealand women’s national team. These days, I like to get out on my mountain bike, walk, swim, dance samba and do pilates. I enjoy spending time with my husband, family and friends, and my fruit trees. Having travel adventures and enjoying good food and wine is also a joy.

WHY ARTEMIS?
The Daring Goddess
When I started my own business over 20 years ago I was stepping into the unknown. It took a lot of courage and strength to leave paid employment with three young children and set off in a new direction. I wanted the name of my new company to reflect the balance between having professional aspirations and being an active mum.
I decided that Artemis was the goddess for me. She is the warrior goddess also known for her protection of the vulnerable. She can be tough and has a caring side. Her ideals fit well with my work which balances being a courageous, wise and committed practitioner with the understanding, care and generosity to support people with their work and life aspirations.
